Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod Enhances Patient Care with Additional Beds in Patient Care Unit 5

Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod (BAMC) has further expanded its capacity to provide quality healthcare by adding new beds to its Patient Care Unit 5, welcoming and dedicating them to the Lord prior to their usage on May 21, 2025. This addition of equipment aims to address the increasing demand for patient rooms and enhance overall service delivery.

The addition of 21 sets of beds to Patient Care Unit 5, which already features semi-private and suite private rooms, marks another step in BAMC’s ongoing commitment to improving its facilities. The hospital has a long history of expanding its services and infrastructure to better serve the community. In 2004, BAMC expanded from 100 to 120 regular care beds, accompanied by the establishment of seven physicians’ clinics and a new Physical Rehabilitation Unit. By 2011, through donations and other means, BAMC increased its bed capacity to 170 with the construction of a 6-story building. As of January 1, 2024, the hospital maintained its capacity at 170 patient beds.

The event was warmly hosted by the Vice President of the Patient Care Services Ms. Loren P. Ylaya, who welcomed everyone and emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in patient care.
