Module 4 – HAZARD IDENTIFICATION RISK ASSESSMENT AND CONTROL
This module will provide the participants and overview on Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control Measures as an Effective Tool of Occupational Health Assessment of Hazardous Process in a healthcare Industry.
Upon completion of this lesson, participants will be able to :
- Identify the hazards according to its classification;
- Conduct risk assessment;
- Apply the necessary hazard control measures using the hierarchy of control;
- Discuss the importance of conducting HIRAC review and assessment; and
- Prepare a HIRAC applicable to their respective work environment and assignment.
Each section contains learning materials such as videos and reading materials for self- interactive learning and better understanding. At the end of this module there will be a 25-item quiz that would serve as a review questions in preparation for the FINAL POST TEST completing the Module 1-6. Please make sure that you have gone over the learning materials first before answering the self-check questions.
